The G Spot

The G-Spot was first written about in the 1950s by sex researcher Ernest Grafenberg and that’s where the name G-spot comes from. The Grafenberg Spot, or G-Spot, is a term used to describe the bean-shaped area of the vagina that many women report to contain an erogenous ‘zone’ which when stimulated can lead to high levels of sexual arousal and powerful orgasms.

British researchers concluded a study which claimed the G-Spot did exist, while the French slammed the research, saying that it is a myth concocted by sex therapists and women’s magazines, which has never actually been scientifically proven and only pressurized men and women.

The G-spot Does Exist

Despite any or all research conducted over the years, many women claim to have located the G-Spot and truly believe it to exist because they have achieved female ejaculation and orgasms through simulating the G-Spot. Some women agree that it does exist despite never having achieved an orgasm or female ejaculation during G-Spot stimulation. However don’t feel bad if you’ve never located the G-Spot, as it can vary from woman to woman, just as libido varies in each individual.

The G-Spot is located on the front wall of the inside of the vagina. All women have a G-spot, but the size, location and sensitivity may also vary from woman to woman. Fingers are the best way of locating the G-Spot. You can do this yourself, or have your partner do this for you.

Feel along the top wall of your, or your partner’s vagina, and go about two inches inside. It is important that you are or your partner is aroused during this, as the G-spot becomes swollen when a female is aroused and thus it is easier to locate.

You Can Feel The G-spot

It will feel spongier or differently textured to the usual smooth vaginal tissue around it. Try to find this spongy area, and this is the G-Spot.

Most women are not aroused simply by light touching in this area, so it’s best to try a ‘come here’ motion with your finger. Try different rhythms and pressure. If you are doing this yourself, you will work out what feels good for you. If you are doing this for your partner, ask her what she likes and dislikes.

Often women feel the urge to urinate during G-Spot stimulation. Don’t worry if you feel this, as it is perfectly normal as the G-Spot is located close to the bladder. If you can relax and ignore the urge, you will enjoy yourself a lot more. If the urge to urinate bothers you too much, try to go to the toilet prior to this.

Some Like Clit Orgasm Some Like G-Spot Orgasm

If you are relaxed and have mastered the art of what stimulates you in the G-Spot, you may have a G-Spot orgasm or female ejaculate. Some women find that clitoral orgasm is better then G-Spot orgasm, but that’s for the individual to decide and discover.

Experiment! Try doggy-style position with your partner, or stimulate both the G-Spot and the clitoris at the same time for a real thrill.

There are many great sex toys available to help with stimulating the G-Spot. These toys are generally a lot more curvy then the usual vibrator or dildo, as they are specifically made for G-Spot stimulation.
